1. About us
This website is operated by Retail Fixtures Co (a trading name of Express Matting Services Ltd). In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Express Matting Services Ltd trading as Retail Fixtures Co, and "you" means the person using this website or placing an order.
2. These terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to every order you place with us. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy. By placing an order you agree to these terms. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
3. Products
We sell retail display and shop-fitting products. We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately, but colours on screen may differ slightly from the real product. Please check the dimensions on each product page before ordering and contact us if you are unsure.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the current UK rate. UK delivery is free. Payment is taken in full when you place your order through Shopify's secure checkout using the payment methods shown there. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we will contact you before dispatch and you may either pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Orders and acceptance
When you place an order you will receive an email confirming we have received it. Our acceptance takes place when we dispatch the goods. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock or there is a pricing error; if we decline after payment, we will refund you in full.
6. Delivery
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only. Delivery timescales are set out in our Shipping Policy. The goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to the address you gave us.
7. Cancellation and returns
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. Returns and refunds are explained in our Refund Policy.
8. Faulty goods and your legal rights
We must supply goods that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, contact us and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund in line with your legal rights. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Assembly and use
Please assemble, install and load products in line with the instructions and stated load limits. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by incorrect assembly, overloading, alteration or use for a purpose the product was not designed for.
10. Limitation of liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence. For business customers, we have no liability for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
11. Use of this website
You must not misuse this website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing harmful material or using it for any unlawful purpose.
12. Intellectual property
The content of this website is owned by Express Matting Services Ltd or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal use but must not reproduce them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
13. Third-party services
This website is hosted on Shopify, and payments are processed through Shopify's checkout and its payment partners. Your contract for the purchase of goods is with Express Matting Services Ltd trading as Retail Fixtures Co, not with Shopify.
14. Personal information
We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy.
15. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event affects your order, we will contact you, and you may cancel for a full refund of anything paid for goods not received.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
